Mord’A’Stigmata was established towards the end of 2004 in Bochnia, Poland, by a group of individualists fascinated with spiritualism and death. From the very beginning, the musicians’ aim has been to create music differing from other extreme metal bands. This resulted in a synthesis of a variety of black metal sub-genres. The debut album, Uberrealistic, was released in 2008 which was followed by the sophomore full-length, Antimatter, in 2011. From 2013 Mord’A’Stigmata started working with Pagan Records, who released their third and critically acclaimed album, Ansia. The cooperation continues with the latest ritual Our Hearts Slow Down set for release in September 2015.

The band’s exceptional work is also reflected in their live performances. In 2014 the band toured Poland as direct support to the mighty Behemoth during their Polish Satanist Tour. Mord’A’Stigmata has performed with many bands at concerts and festivals, which include Melechesh, Vader, Paradise Lost, Wardruna, Kampfar, Secrets of the Moon, Tribulation, Arch Enemy, In Solitude, Inquisition, Obscure Sphinx, Infernal War, Furia, Acherontas, Aluk Todolo, Blaze of Perdition, Thaw, Hate and Vesania.
