As the final date in a trio of Christmas shows from The Cure, Tuesday sees the band pack out once again the historic venue’s near 5,000 capacity. With old school Goth punks, long-time die hards and those who just came to hear “Friday I’m in Love”, the crowd is an eclectic mix and a testament to not only the band’s huge appeal, but also to the longevity of the songs.

Now I’ve been to quite a number of gigs at The Garage over the years, several of them sold out the same as this one. However, this was one of the biggest crowds I’d seen so early on in the evening.
