Every first Wednesday of the month, the London Ace Cafe is host to the long established and free to attend “Hot Rod Night”, a very popular event for every petrol head!
We arrived at the Ace Cafe just before 7pm and the parking space started to fill with Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, Classic American, Custom Cars and a few customized British cars.
Within one hour, the complete car park and parking spaces on the roadside were filled with lots of interesting and customized vehicles, even motor bikes, as this event has a big following among bike lovers too.
Once we said Hello to our friends, we started to check out some of the amazing cars on display and the evening did not disappoint.
The Ace Cafe itself offers a good selection of drinks and delicious food for a reasonable price and a DJ or Live Music is on offer on event nights.
Due to hosting a great selection of events, ranging from German Bike and Car Nights, Cruises, Classic Car Nights, Harley Nights and All American Car Meet Ups, the service is quick, friendly and even raffles are on offer during individual events.
We made our way through the very busy car park, so we could take a closer look at some of the cars on display, watched burn outs while wiggling our feet to 50’s Rock’n’Roll Music.
A few car owners are more than willed to let you sit in their car for a photograph if asked nicely and if you are lucky, you are allowed to sit in the back of a stylish white hearse and hug a skeleton.
So, if you are free on the first Wednesday of the month and you are a fan of Hot Rods or Bikes, come along and join us and you too will go home with a big smile on your face, just like we did!
