Already with big US & UK management behind them (Tesla’s Brian Wheat) and recently taken onto X Ray Touring’s books after being seen by Steve Strange himself, FlashFires can also count Led Zep’s Jimmy Page amongst their rapidly growing legion of fans after he popped along to see one of their London shows.
Friends from school, FlashFires have a unique bond that shines through in their song writing and their live shows. Despite being only 19 years old, they are hugely musically talented & writing some phenomenal tunes that are making people all over the world sit up and take notice. Sitting somewhere on the indie/rock spectrum, their own self-proclaimed brand of Fire Indie Disco, FlashFires are here to have a good time and everyone is invited.
Signing with independent label Angry Badger Records in May 2013, FlashFires set off for J Street Recording Studios in California to work with Brian Wheat, bassist with US rock legends Tesla. Initially hired to produce the record it soon became clear that Brian was keen to work with the band further, put simply he stated “I recognised their tremendous talent and potential” and he now co-manages the band with Jules (Angry Badger Records)
CIRCUS BOY was mastered at Abbey Road by Frank Arkwright (Blur/The Smiths/Joy Division)
FlashFires continue to build a fanatical following with their storming live shows and if you haven’t had the chance to check them out yet, they really are a must-see! With their youth, energy and abundance of talent these guys are going to be making a huge impact on the scene over the next few years.
