Steampunk antagonists The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing ( ) known for their outlandish shows that blend Victorian era history with 70’s punk aggression are gathering with support from The Cesarians and False Flag at Relentless Garage in London this Friday 14th of November for a night of defiance.
The band made up from a mix of stand up performers; guitarist/vocalist Andrew O’Neil (also radio 4 personality), Bassist Marc Burrow along with Ex-Creaming Jesus vocalist Andy Heintz (Vocals) and ex-Lords of the New Church man drummer Jez Miller have been on the receiving end of glowing praise for their unique and chaotic style since forming in 2008. The London based outfit have been through the races with lawsuits and more recently severely debilitating illness with Andy Heintz being diagnosed with throat cancer this year. A less determined outfit might have called it quits but as TMTWNBBFN have shown, they are not so easily stopped.
After vocalist Andy Heintz was diagnosed with throat cancer back in April it looked like TMTWNBBFN were going to hit the wall but as Andy went through radiotherapy the band continued as a three piece and played Glastonbury back in June. Vocalist Andy has decided to get on with it and stay the course of radiotherapy whilst continuing to involve himself with the band who are preparing for their highly anticipated third release slated for the Spring/Summer of next year.
This Friday TMTWNBBFN will be playing their only London show this year. You will have the chance to bare witness to some of their new material and to see them back on stage as a four piece once again. On Friday it will be about more than music and comebacks. It will be a coming together of people who will stand side by side with their arms raised in defiance to celebrate the kicking of Cancer’s Arse.
