Review:

Having already released a split LP with fellow Belgians Amenra, young Quintet Eleanora, go solo releasing their self titled Eleanora EP

It’s just 2 songs but there is a lot crammed into the 15 minute total, offering dark intense melodies and hardcore intensity

Track one is Mammon, it’s a near 8 minute roller coaster ride of screamo riffage and intensity, leading nicely into track two, Amenable, with its slow opening build upand a more sludgey feel, its my favourite of the two tracks

Its really hard to judge on just two songs, but there’s enough here to show that a full scale album would be worth a listen

The EP is billed by their label as a sledge hammer to the face, but I’d call it more or a decent sized claw hammer to the nuts with the promise of more to come
