Review:

Haunt Me as I Roam is the 4th album from New Zealand metalcore outfit Antagonist A.D and what a release it is. As soon as I started listening I was blown away.

The first track, “Cold”, is haunting, with an intro gradually building with angst into an anthem as these guys set to do battle with the world. Track 2, “Coffin Keeper”, is a straight up thrash track with some nice signs of things to come with vocal break downs that come in just at the right time to mix things up, which is one of the the things that stood out for me. Track 3, “Haunt Me As I Roam” is a angst filled love song and the melody from the haunting guitar is just awesome and gives the feel of desperation and torment of hurting for someone not there. One of my favorite tracks on the album.

Track 4, “Hard Feeling” is another trash track Sam’s vocals screaming hard with fight and hurt. Track 5, “Wanderlust” is for me one of the standout tracks, opening with line “Im starring at the sun, screaming out my lungs”,  it’s a powerful anthem that will make you want to scream out your lungs along with Sam from start to finish.

I loved this album it had everything for me even had pinches of new metal which gave the whole album twists and turns definite listen if not purchase.
