New Radio Remix of SHY available for airplay.
As heard on BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing South, BBC Introducing Berks, Amazing Radio.
FlashFires radio remix of the single SHY is now out for radio play, here’s a few quotes from people about this fabulous up and coming band:
“FlashFires – intense power pop rocking, with attitude. There’s a punky confidence to FlashFires, an alternative rock band with power pop sensibilities…”
“The trio of guitars enable FlashFires to explore depths of sound which captivate the attention. The instruments are deployed, not to gain volume, rather enrich textures….”
“Play EP: Supergrass on steroids. This EP manages to be such a consistently fantastic one from start to finish…With their fondness for experimentalism, their solid musical chemistry and their natural songwriting flair, you can’t expect anything but great things from this band.”
FlashFires also have a new BBC Introducing show coming up in Reading at the Purple Turtle on 4th November, definite worth catching them there, they packed the place last time!
9th October, End Of The Trails record night, Amersham Arms, London SE14
10th October, Crashlanding All-dayer, Aldershot with XCerts, Boys Jump Ship, Demob Happy
4th November, BBC Introducing night, Purple Turtle, Reading
This will be their last show until next year as the band head out to Sacramento, CA on November 9th for 6 weeks to record new tracks for release early next spring.
Having already supported the likes of ASH, The Subways, The Rifles & Catfish & The Bottlemen amongst others, along with their youth, energy and abundance of talent, this bunch young Basingstoke lads are simply a ‘must see’ and are going to be making a big impact on the music scene in the coming months!
