About Novallo
Novallo are an unsigned self-invested experimental project from Columbus, OH founded in 2006. Since their conception the band has aimed to make music that incorporates a wide spectrum of genres while retaining an emphasis on heavier styles. Their 2012 self-titled EP sent a surge into cyberspace and has organically grown a cult of followers, earning them a spot on this year’s Rock on the Range, the only unsigned band on the bill, playing alongside such acts as Slipknot, Linkin Park, Godsmack and Judas Priest.

Novallo’s genre-bending style truly sets them apart. The guitar work’s ever-changing tonalities has nuances of Tom Morello’s groove, with undertones of Periphery’s mind-blowing technique—all with electric sounds coming out of their instruments that, until now, only EDM producers could engineer.

Featuring colorful guitar work seamlessly infused with high-energy rock, jazz, soul and metal elements, Novallo is truly an anomaly in today’s music scene. In addition to a guitarist poised to be the next Tosin Abasi, the band’s vocalist boasts a wide range of influences including, and quite audibly, Michael Jackson and Chris Cornell.

After a packed summer on the Midwest festival circuit, Novallo are releasing the highly anticipated sequel to their 2012 masterpiece.Novallo II truly epitomizes their sound and how far they have come in their short incarnation—as well as paves the way for the distance they will go.
