Gorgoroth, the infamous icons of Norwegian black metal, are coming to the UK with a show at The Dome on December 12th in London.
Started by guitarist Infernus in 1992, the band has since grown to become one of the strongest names in the Nordic black metal scene, gaining notoriety in 2004 after a controversial show in Poland. Without any signs of slowing down since the departure of members Gaahl and King ov Hell, the band have continued to stay strong. After a four year hiatus, Gorgoroth finally put out a new album last summer, with ‘Instinctus Bestialis’ through extreme metal label, Soulseller Records.
As part of the promotion for the record, Gorgoroth will bring their visceral sound with fellow Norsemen Kampfar and Gehanna in tow, for a European tour this December. Fittingly called ‘BlackFest Over X-Mass’, the tour will see three dates in the United Kingdom – Manchester, London and Bristol – where they’ll be accompanied for this period by London’s progressive death metal act De Profundis.
