Review:

Creeping Flesh is a five man band which comes from Gothenburg, Sweden. From Sweden, as we know, there are a lot of bands associated with the death metal scene, so Creeping Flesh is one of them. They formed in 2013, and till now they have 2 EP’s. In 2014 they released their first EP titled “Unravelled by War” and a year later their second one named “Rising Terror”. They seek inspiration mainly from Bolt Thrower, Hail of Bullets, and Jungle Rot.

In 2016 they released their Demo which consists of 3 songs – “Scorched”. The demo is made from 3 songs, keeping similar theme so you don’t lose the feeling for it. It starts with the same titled song, and it kicks right in with a heavy guitar riff and growling vocals. Both guitars , rhythm and lead cover the whole song perfectly, the lead keeping its pace, and the lead covering with high pitch squeals. The solo is also perfect, fitting in the song as it could much as possible.

The demo continues with “Trench Apostasy” which speeds up the pace a little bit. Filled with fast lead guitar picking and bass parts which completely destroy everything in front. The vocals again crushing the whole song. The demo ends with “Forever Onwards” and is a perfect song to finish it all. The whole band composition nails it completely with vocals, drum fills, riffs and solo.

All in all, the demo promises a lot for this band. They are releasing a new album either late 2017 or early 2018, so this peace might be  just a beginning of what is yet to come from Creeping Flesh.
