Remember when metal was fun? When it wasn’t all Black and bleak and Hardcore and you just enjoyed it for something that made you want to bang your head and make a Mosh Pit in your own lounge room? Nah, a lot of you won’t, Don’t get me wrong because I love all of the different facets of Metal, but there was a time when it was all a lot easier..

Municipal Waste have been around for a while. They have listened to the good stuff, and quite correctly decided that no, it should not fade into antiquity, it should be shared forever more. Long live the King they have said, and we should all respond with the same, because this is fucking great!

For me DRI come to mind, after they crossed over, heck one song even reminds me of them BEFORE they crossed over but for all intents and purposes these guys own this shit and bring more to it. Adding a new Guitarist may have helped, but having been a fan for some time their sound  has always been there, now they just sound a lot BETTER!

No need to root through this song by song. From start to finish you will kick back, and enjoy, heck you may even break a wall or two in your mum’s house… And so you should. The spirit of humour and kick arse riffs are still alive in these guys, reminding us of what was, and what can be.
