Pascagoula mix their noise rock roots with dirty sludge riffs and strong low ends in their debut album The Path, The Cross, The Aftermath. Straight out of Brighton’s emerging underground music scene and co produced by Dry Cough/ Badlands, the band are poised to set some heads banging with their upcoming UK tour to coincide with their album launch.

Upon listening to the album I can safely say that the album is pretty damn solid, there are some meaty riffs and some nice doom elements to the songs and a killer sludgey dissonate signature scream. My only gripe would be that off key disjointed singing in between instrumental parts, makes singer, Ross Sargeant, sound like Sean Ryder on a bad day. Each track kinda blends into the same grimey mess and I found it hard to pick a stand out track as nothing hugely jumped out at me. That’s not to say it’s a bad album, a good start more like and one where they can build on and grow. Catch them on their tour, dates below.
