Review

Tomorrow Is Lost is a new band that only started in 2017, but boy oh boy have they had a great 2018. With touring up and down the UK after doing plenty of shows in their hometown of Newcastle, it’s pretty clear to see why this band have taken off so dramatically quick.

With plenty of rock riffs and soulful lyrics to get your blood pumping, singer Cass King has a truly unique voice that rivals the leading front ladies of today. It’s raspy, it’s soulful and it’s oh so powerful. It’s a bloody kick-ass set of lungs that she has going for her. It’s almost reminiscent of Dolores O’Riordan of The Cranberries.

The band members themselves appear to be very young – much like the band itself, but that doesn’t seem to be stopping them. Just by checking out their social media pages you can see that they’re constantly on the road doing some one show or another and that’s the perfect way for a small band like this to get some well-deserved attention. And these guys surely deserve it.

The singles on the EP, We Are The Lost and Insane, are quick and heavy. This band will surely rival the likes of Halestorm very soon, with badass licks, riffs and vocals. Even though this band has only been around a little over a year I’m surprised they haven’t picked up more attention from bigger magazines through touring with bigger bands like Skindred – but that is each magazine’s loss more than theirs as they are already amassing a large following.

I can’t really pick a stand out track on this EP as they are all so good and unique from each other and it’s truly one for all fans of rock music to check out for sure!
