This quartet from Orange County in California has been around since 2016 and have just put out their debut album. Their name has nothing to do with the UK and their Commonwealth; instead, they are into the commonwealth of all.

Playing a mix of alternative, rock, and emo, they do have a lot of talent as evidenced on the album. Sadly, the album is just a touch too generic sounding for me. The singer has a pleasant voice that goes from a calm, mellow lilt to screaming at the top of his lungs, sometimes a bit too much. The lyrics are pretty good, the production is clear, and the band plays with a lot of emotion, but it just didn’t stand out to me, too much of the same old sound that a lot of bands do.

It’s not a bad debut album, just kind of average and hopefully, they can find their groove and really take off in the future.
