This is a one-man project from the Finnish psych-occult-folk artist Iterum Nata. The themes of the album revolve around Hermetic philosophy and the relationship between birth and death, and that concept of rebirth is present in every song of the album. There are also hidden meanings and messages behind the songs to try to figure out.

This was an interesting album with “Arcadia” being the best song on the album to me. It had energy, a touch of Bowie and a bit of the Mission mixed into the track; I really liked it and had hopes for the rest of the album. Sadly, the rest of the album is just okay, a touch of Celtic folk here, some female vocals, and a whole lot of waiting for something close to the first track to kick in again.

Something for a mellow night in, but nothing to knock your socks off. It’ll be interesting to see what the future recordings will sound like.
