Review:

For their sophomore album, Abyssic has created five loooong songs. They play a mixture of death/doom, with black and prog influences.

Well, album number three to review this time, and it also has the kind of stuff that really does nothing for me. I do like the orchestral ideas that are mixed into the songs, and the heaviness incorporated into them as well, but the vocal…ah the vocals. Cookie monster wants cookies! Really, does it all have to be this bad? I guess it does. These overlong songs just need to be cut into smaller bites, this is just more than I can bare.

If these bands would put out instrumental versions of their albums, I would love to own them and give them top marks, but I just can’t…really…I can’t.
