AURORA Reveals Video For ‘Apple Tree’

Headlines The Roundhouse on 11th November

Ahead of her biggest headline tour to date in the UK, 23 year old Norwegian pop star AURORA reveals the video for ‘Apple Tree’, a powerful comment on the environmental crisis. You can watch it HERE. Of the video, AURORA says;

“Apple Tree is about the potential that hides in all of us. We can all save the world if we put our minds to it. The world won’t listen to scientific proof that the world is dying, so maybe it will listen to the dreamers, the children. In a bleeding world the power of the individual is our only hope. Let her save the world. Let him save them all. Believe in us, and maybe we’ll be the generation that saves the world, rather than the one that killed it.  The world is bleeding. It’s up to us now”

The single manages to strike a perfect balance between the warmth of AURORA’s vocals and complex, textured electronica, woven around the mesmeric tribal beats evident throughout her output. It provides one of the highlights on her critically acclaimed third album ‘A Different Kind of Human’, which thematically tackles issues ranging from the environmental crisis to outdated gender roles and more broadly, the rampant individualism so prevalent in today’s society.
With fans including Shawn Mendes, Katy Perry, Troye Sivan and Billie Eilish, who cites AURORA as the reason she makes music, AURORA’s unique brand of alt-pop is making waves all over the world and garnering an ever expanding legion of die hard fans, who AURORA refers to as her ‘Warriors and Weirdos’. An extensive sold out tour of South America and Australia pre-empted the release of ‘A Different Kind of Human’ and after appearances at Glastonbury & Latitude festivals, she returns to the UK for her biggest headline show to date at London’s Roundhouse on Monday 11thNovember.
